About Lallier Série R.016 Brut Champagne
Lallier Série R.016 Brut Champagne was crafted from 56% Pinot Noir and 44% Chardonnay, mostly from the 2016 vintage. 2016 was a challenging year with a cool and rainy spring, frost, and hail damaging the vines. The summer was scalding hot and dry, delaying ripening. By the end of the summer, the weather had stabilized, with final results surprising vine growers. Still, the year had one of the smallest yields in the past 2 decades. The Champagne was blended with 14% reserve wines from 2012, and 2014. With a dosage of 7g/l, you can expect a complex wine with notes of citrus, almond, and a pleasant minerality throughout.

About Champagne
Champagne has been associated with royalties since the 17th century, still maintaining its glorious reputation.
The French take Champagne seriously, so coming from the Champagne region of France isn’t the only requirement that keeps this drink from being “just sparkling wine.” The rules of the appellation require specific vineyard practices, particular types of grapes, specific pressing methods, and secondary fermentation of wine.
